CHAPTER FIVE

The room was decorated like the rest of the home but with some added color of deep blue and royal purple. It made the room pop with energy and vitality but also gave it a sense of restful beauty. He placed Andrew on the edge of the bed and knelt in front of him. He watched Andrew watch him as he gently removed Andrew's highly polished shoes and then his socks. Kristof set them aside and ran his hands up Andrew's thighs massaging the tense muscles beneath the perfectly tailored pants. "I'm going to strip you and put you to bed, and then I'm going to undress and lie down beside you. Nothing has to happen after that if you don't want it to. I will hold you, and we will sleep, it is up to you my precious mate." Kristof waited and after a few seconds of thought, Andrew nodded indicating for him to continue.

He refused to scare his mate or push him too fast into intimacy. Kristof could be patient; he'd built his life and career on patience. "You will never lose me no matter what you decide, Andrew. You are my mate, Andrew, now and forever." He needed clarity and Kristof had no problem giving it.

"You are my beloved, Kristof. I knew you when I saw you on the main floor and then when I touched you, there was no doubt that you were mine." Kristof smiled up at Andrew remembering his little mate's attempt at saving him from the big vampire. He jumped into the fight knowing full well that he could not defeat the man holding Kristof. He didn't demure or stand back and wait; he attacked without a thought to his own health and safety. Kristof had never had anyone risk it all for him like that.

Kristof took Andrew's hand and kissed it tenderly before pushing him to lay back on the bed. Once accomplished, Kristof opened Andrew's jacket and then unbuttoned his pants, all the while Andrew kept his eyes on him.

He indicated for him to raise his hips and Kristof pulled Andrew’s pants down to his ankles and then off. He stood there for a moment and appreciated the view letting his eyes travel the tight elegance of the clothing that remained and the raw sexuality of the undress.

Andrew was flawless. Kristof marveled at the way his presence affected him, so unspoiled yet so sensuous. Kristof could see his arousal through the thin boxer briefs Andrew was wearing. The sight was setting his teeth on edge and making his resolve to go slow a torturous promise.

He pulled Andrew back into a sitting position and removed his jacket first and then began a slow course of unbuttoning the crisp white shirt. With each button, he gave a possessive kiss to the revealed smooth skin of Andrew’s chest. Andrew squirmed and moaned softly but did not pull away or ask him to stop. Soon the shirt was completely unbuttoned and Kristof was easing it off Andrew’s shoulders.
